Orange & Banana Salad

This simple recipe only calls for two tropical fruits, but, if you’d like, you could also get creative by sprinkling them with shredded coconut or pomegranate seeds.

IMAG0002Ingredients:

  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Orange

To Make:

  1. Peel orange.
  2. Slice orange into about 7 or more slices, depending on how thick or thin you would like them.
  3. Peel banana.
  4. Slice banana into equal amount of slices. You may not use all the banana. I tried with both thick and thin slices, and prefer thinner slices, about 1/4 inch thick as opposed to 1/2-1 inch thick slices, so if you only use half the banana, you can either eat the rest of the half, or use another orange to make more, or you can freeze it for later.
  5. Place 1 banana slice in the center of each orange slice.

Makes as many slices as you have orange slices, usually around 7, give or take a couple.
