Whichever you prefer to call it. I’ve considered both choices. What do you like best?
Makes 4 onigiri.
- 2 cups of prepared sticky rice, still warm
- 4 baby beets, whole (I use pickled, but if yours are not pickled or canned, you should at least cook them thoroughly).
- Separate rice into four parts.
- Flatten all four parts.
- Place a pickled beet in the center of each one.
- Roll each into a ball.
- Let cool in the refrigerator for at least an hour before eating.
