My friend and I really enjoyed these. It’s also loaded with vitamins and natural sugars to give a boost of energy and raise alertness.
Ingredients:
- 3-4 very ripe bananas, peeled and frozen
- 1/2-1 cup canned, fresh, or frozen pineapple (We used canned, and pineapple canned in its own juice is best, because you can use the juice, but please don’t use the juice if it isn’t actually pineapple juice, but is syrup. That’s different.)
- about 1 1/2-2 cups pineapple juice or coconut milk/coconut water (You can also mix half coconut milk/water and half pineapple juice, we didn’t use coconut milk, but I have before, and it’s delicious that way, too, and creamier, but it may be more refreshing without.)
- 1-2 fresh mango(s), peeled, pitted, and sliced
To Make:
Blend all ingredients together on high/liquefy, until smooth (like a smoothie). It may be pulpy. Delicious! If it’s too thick or won’t mix well, add more pineapple juice/coconut milk. If you don’t have any more, you can add water. You could also add almond/soy or other nondairy milks, which will make the smoothie creamier/milkier, but I don’t recommend those.
