Frothy lemonade

IMAG0061This made a nice, cool, refreshing drink. I had 3 of these glasses the first time. It makes about 5-6 of these glasses, around 4 or 5 cups, depending on how much water and juice you use of this delightful little drink.

  • 1/4-1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 3-4 Tbsp raw cane sugar (I used Florida Crystals)
  • 4-5 cups of water
  • ice cubes (about 3-4 per glass) (optional, but recommended)

To Make:

  1. Blend all ingredients together in a blender on high/liquify until thoroughly blended into lemonade. This will make it frothy, too.
  2. (Optional) Pour each serving in a glass over 3-4 ice cubes. I recommend 1/2-1 cup per serving.

This can store well in the fridge for at least a few days to a week or longer (I drank mine within a couple of days, storing it overnight right in the blender with a lid on it, in the fridge.). It will flatten, but you can blend it again to make it frothy again. This beverage is great after a long, hot summer day of work, just for kicking back and relaxing, and may be  appropriate to serve to guests at a nice dinner (if served in the right kind of glasses).  I do not recommend drinking/serving with something that is heavily garlicky, because the garlic taste may overpower the light lemony taste of the lemonade, and the two do not mix very well.
