This is not my recipe. I pulled it out of Miss B’s box of recipes some time not long before leaving her home on my journey to Thailand.
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease cookie sheets.
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup oat flour (grind rolled or quick oats in a blender of food processor to make oat flour)
- 3 Tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
Mix these three ingredients together.
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup oil (I recommend 100% pure, extra virgin olive oil.)
- 1/2 cup cold water
Whip these three ingredients together and immediately mix them into the dry ingredients.
Press the dough into a thin layer onto greased cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until firm and brown. This should take about 10-15 minutes. Check first after 10 minutes.
